Operation Frozen Milk

I made it safe and sound to Bethel (temp -13 degrees). But more importantly, so did all my food. Yes, that's right. Operation frozen milk was a success. As was operation glass jar of salsa. And operation hunk of cheddar cheese (packed next to the frozen milk). Glad to have some of my creature comforts here in the tundra.

I'm staying at a different guest house than last time. The cab ride here got me all turned around. I have no idea where I am in relation to the hospital. Luckily, the other boarder in this house is working on the inpatient wards as well this week. I'll just have to follow her to work tomorrow. And leave a trail of breadcrumbs for myself on the way back. My very lovely hosts told me that my housemate went running today outside... very interesting... I will investigate.

For now, it's off to bed. Gotta rest up for the deluge of radio medical traffic that awaits me in the morning.
