Breaking News!

This just in:

My fateful baby of clinic delivery fame just landed on my schedule. It was nice closure to see him pink and (sorta) chubby (well, in comparison to our last meeting), breathing like a champ with very grateful parents. It took a moment for me to recognize them given the extremely different circumstances today.

The stats:

birth weight 4 lb 11 oz
inpatient for 4 days, normal newborn nursery
feeding well
today's weight 5 lb 12 oz

and... drum roll please...

His name is Howard! Beyond adorable. I got some good snaps of Howard snoozing in his mother's arms.

Breathing an enormous sigh of relief currently...
